Post-Doctoral Fellow (2 openings)

Applications are invited for two post-doctoral research fellows in the Aphasia and Neurolinguistics Research lab, in the Center for the Neurobiology of Language Recovery at Northwestern University to study normal and disordered sentence processing and to chart language recovery patterns in aphasia.

Studies use eyetracking (visual world paradigm), auditory event related potentials (ERP), functional neuroimaging (fMRI), and other psycholinguistic research methods. A Ph.D. in cognitive science, communication sciences and disorders, linguistics, psychology, or related field and a strong background in language research is required. Successful applicants also should have experience with eyetracking and/or ERP research; experience with fMRI also is desirable.

Positions are for 2 to 3 years, with potential for advancing to Research Associate. Funding for the position is part of a large-scale NIH supported project. For more information see and
